Nice USFS dump station 1 mile north on Route 66 (threaded fresh water and rinse hoses)

Ok
No hookups, sites are very close to each other, and not on the lake/no lake views from any sites we saw, but the lake is close by. Although quieter than Stillwater CG, the views are much better at Stillwater (and there's hookups). Sunrise CG is also much nicer with trees and some privacy between sites. A pretty location and good location to explore the area. The close sites with no privacy and no lake front made this campground disappointing.

Nice Campground On The Lake
This is a nice campground in the area right on Shadow Mountain Reservoir. The trees on Loop A are coming back from all the beetlekill that happened here. The restrooms on Loop A are some of the cleanest we've ever seen. The Loop A hosts were by far the best hosts we've ever dealt with. No hookups but there is a dumpstation half a mile away. There is also water next to the restrooms. Sites are nicely spaced and all sites have a fire pit and table. Great hiking trails in the area and very close to Rocky Mountain NP. The town of Grand Lake is also nice. We definitely recommend and will come back. We would stay on Loop A as it is definitely better than Loop B.
