Beautiful Area But Close Neighbors

We camped here for Father's Day weekend in a RV spot without hook ups. It was nice being at the back of the property, more like being out by ourselves. However the site we were at (93) was at the bottom of the hill and it rained everyday. So all the rain, sand, and dirt came to our site. Also they have over 8 campground hosts, so every hour or so someone would be driving around checking up on things. This can be nice and a bit too much all at the same time. The campground had many rules that we were not used to, such as we couldn't put anything on the grass. So we had to take our shade tent down. The campsite were much closer than what we were used to. We could hear what neighbors were talking about, close!! The bathrooms were clean and had hot running water. Showers were 6 minutes for $2, so we passed. The area is absolutely beautiful and we loved being close to Estes Park.

Ok Much Better Camp Grounds For Same $

The staff was much older and kinda crabby. I have never seen a camp ground with so many camp host. At least 2 host in each row! The dirt road had lots of pot holes. You have to pay for showers and the bathroom is FREEZING. We stayed 2 nights and switched to a koa for the same price and much better amenities.

Great Campground

Staff is very friendly. Sites will hold big units (ours is 40 ft). Be careful of the speed bumps. We looked at other campgrounds and this one gives each site more room.

Great Place

Nice place. 5 mins from everything. Did run into an uneven spot and ruined one of my jacks but thank God I had a floor jack. Staff was nice. Good get away.

The park is conveniently located between the downtown area and the entrance to the park. The staff was friendly and there was a small store at the entrance that sold condiments and a few other items. We used a pull through site with full hook-ups and noticed that most of the sites were very level, making it easy to set up. I recommend this park.

Great Park, Convenient Location

We stayed for 2 nights and had a great stay. The park is very well ran with friendly staff and our space was labeled with our name awaiting our arrival. Check in and set up was a breeze (even with a back-in space), and the camp itself has a nice store and is on the route for the local free shuttle to downtown Estes Park and RMNP which was extremely convenient. The park has great views of the mountains and has tons of wildlife (we had a herd of elk hang out right in front of our campsite one evening). The only negative would be that the sites are somewhat close together for the back in spaces, but other than that we would definitely come back.
