Lots Of Traffic Noise

Right next to the Rio Grande River at 8,700 feet and right next to the 149 highway southwest of Creede. There are 17 sites; 1 through 10 are reservable and 11 through 17 are FCFS. Don’t plan on any shade unless you bring it and no trees to hang your hammock. Each site has a fire ring, picnic table and grill. No water but the vault toilet has electric with light at night. I was able to get a roaming 3G signal from USA-Commnet, good for text and voice.

Great Little Campground On The Rio Grand

Small campground, right off the highway, but very little road noise. 16 campsites. Most are on the river. Most are pull through sites with a few back-ins. A mix of reservable and FSFS sites. Great, helpful camp hosts for 2021. Not much shade available so bring a canopy. We'll definitely stay here again!

Great dry camping. No water here.
