Nice

Nice campground. Large area for hiking, biking. Saw wild turkeys. Have lots of things for kids. Pretty area as well. Spots are pretty tight, okay for a couple nights.

Disappointed

Made reservations for 3 nights, when we arrived was told have to stay in one site then move next day to an other site for two more days, was ok with that but then next day was told they did not have a site, someone forgot to block it out. Very poorly run KOA, would not stay here ever. Campground is rundown and needs updating, sites are not made for bigger rigs. Suggest staying any place but here

We love this place. Been here twice and will stop in every chance I get. My granddaughter had so much fun with all the kids activities. Sure it was a little hectic at times and the workers seemed a little overwhelmed. But all in all this is a great spot to stay. Also a little pricey but still well worth it.

Disappointed

I recently spent 3 nights here on my way North to Oregon. When you arrive at check in (1:00) you find that the office is closed from 12-3. What? Closed at check in time? So I wandered around aimlessly trying to figure out what to do. Finally I found a button and a woman came on the speaker and said she'd open the gate remotely. I entered and picked a spot (a back in which I reserved). The place was mostly empty. Later, they found my reservation and moved me to a pull thru spot. I went to the office later to pay and was charged more than what my reservation stated because I was in a pull thru. They claimed ignorance because I booked online, stating it was corporate that did that. Next, the hot tub was closed. The fish pond had no fish. The shower chairs had black mold on them. They were having sewer problems. The place seems it would be great in the summer of you have kids. Summary: everything was closed and I was overcharged. Prices need to be lowered in the off season.

This would be a great weekend camping spot with kids. 4 kids play areas, a petting zoo, mini golf, a train and kids wading pool. Plus lots more stuff. 3 prestige pull thrus even have their own hot tubs. We're just passing thru for one night in Winter. Quiet & friendly, with all amenities.
