We camped there for 3 nights in August 2020. Some sites are well suited for RVs. We liked it exception for the California fire 2020. We will not hesitate to go back.

Beautiful Spot
The setting here is beautiful. If you have a trailer or 5th wheel longer than 32 ft, this campground can be very difficult.
Pros: Wooded sites, plenty of room between sites to give some privacy. Lake access in campground. We used the in-campground water spigots to fill drinking water jugs, and the water was delicious. Spaces paved but not very level
Cons: No dump station in the entire national forest area, and no place to fill fresh water holding tank; we made arrangements ahead of time with private campground in Weaverville for filling (free) coming in and dumping ($15) going out. Restrooms did not seem to be cleaned daily - maybe every 3 days.
