Awful
This camp is bad for so many reasons. For one, if you plan on visiting sequoia go elsewhere as it is a 40 min drive. But more importantly it is very old, not well shaded and basically a parking lot in a dumpy area. Our site had a bunch of younger guys parking a ghetto caddilac next to us while they stood around shirtless smoking. Ive been in close to 50 KOAs and this one is my least favorite. It was so bad and we felt so insecure that we canceled our week long stay and went to a much better private camp in three rivers. I can't say how the staff were, we weren't there long enough to find out.

Other Campers Made Us Uneasy
We stayed for a night and that was enough. If we hadn’t got there late I would have gone on. Many long term tenants, lots of stuff around them. We did not use the showers or other amenities.

If you want to tie your dog to your trailer and let it bark this is the park for you. Tried to go to the dog area with my two labradoodles but between the dogs straining at their chains and the snarling pit bull trying to chew through the fence we didn’t make it. Won’t be making a return trip here! Not much lose to comment on because it is a pretty basic overnight stop.

Nice Friendly Place To Stay
Enroute to Sequoia National Park stopped in for one night stayed for two. Friendly helpful staff. Nicely stocked store open til 8pm. Pool open until 9pm and kids were having a ball. Site was a pull thru and gravel but level. Hookups were convenient. Location was about 42 miles from Sequoia. A nice friendly park to stay in.

Tired Park
Stayed here 1 night which was plenty. Park is in the middle of a housing development which was weird. Park is tired and is really mostly a gravel lot with a bit of grass here and there. Tight spaces and tired buildings. If you are tired and need a place to spend a night it works. Wouldn't stay longer. People at checkin were very nice.

Needs Some Updates
Bathrooms need attention. I don't have kids but there were a lot of them playing here, so it's good for kids. I didn't write home about it, but I've had worse and better. About 45 miles from Sequoia

Mister
Great staff, clean, nice day room (just wish it stayed open till after the 10pm news). Clean restrooms, nice selection of various emergency type food items in the store and other items.
The owner is very friendly!

Great staff and great park. Stopped for the night and they were open till 8:00pm. Other campgrounds in the area close at 5:00 and wanted a $40 late check in fee. KOA here did a wonderful job and accommodated our every need. Bath and shower very clean and lots of hot water. AAA+

We chose a KOA since we wanted to be sure of what we were getting. That was a mistake. Sites are dirt mixed with grass. Neighbors appear to live permanently? Pics look lovely but are deceiving, reviews seem great but what's here doesn't match up.
