Close To Home!
This is a great place for fall and spring otherwise it’s pretty hot in the summer!

Nice Campground
We camped here in August (hot and dry) in loop G. Each space in the loop was a 50 ft. Pull thru and about 50 ft. Wide, with all hook ups, a tree, fire ring, raised grill and a picnic table under a large pergola. The price was $31 per night plus $8 for an extra vehicle. The non summer rate is only $25 and less for sites without hook ups. We were close to a small store/burger shack and the swim area. Boats, kyaks, etc are available to rent. Store and rentals are likely summer only. The place was booked up on the weekend but emptied out on Monday and Tuesday. We couldn’t get an AT&T cell signal but we had great WiFi at our space, the beach and as we walked around. I saw a number of repeaters. Unsecured but free and relatively robust. This lake is for fishing and swimming. Boats are restricted to 10 mph.
We reserved over a nice easy to use website. We checked in at a booth as we entered the park. We were not given a map or any other information.

Great
I stayed in loop A 20 and it did have electric hook up for my trailer. The bathrooms were close by and even hot showers. The campsites here are not too close to the neighboring campsite. We went in December and loved it. Had a fire pit thing and a pergola with a table. We did do a reservation in advance but the place was pretty empty this time of year. No telephone or internet, we have att. Close to the lake, but no fishes caught when we went fishing. It was 25 a night and an additional for the dogs and each additional car is I think 8 dollars a night

Nice Park
We stayed here September 25 through October 1, 2017. Cost $25 per day. Spots are large and level. Sites along the water in A Loop do not have electric hookups. Flush toilets and showers. Pergolas, table, fire ring, and bar-b-q at each site. No grass anywhere. Verizon 3G spotty throughout campground . I don't understand the $4 per day charge for a dog, oh well welcome to California. Store and cafe close by at the marina.
