Came up looking for a place to stay. Although most campgrounds are closed for the winter and this is a tent only campground, we were advised by the ranger that we were able to park overnight. The camping fee is $20 a night and operated on the honor system… no one came by to check. I’m assuming because of the season. There was an occasional bit of noise from the passing cars but was mostly quiet after 11. There was a trail to walk and explore and was relatively close to Mtn High. There a pit toilets available and bear resistant trash containers. It was a bit disappointing to see quite a bit of litter around the area. The public should do better in order to keep having these places to explore and experience.
