Staff Was Great!
Most expensive site we have ever stayed at. 36' class c, trailer was placed on site parking lot for tow. We had ants too. But bait cleaned them up in less than a day. We stayed 5 days. It was amazing how tight it was but we could maneuver around and down the lanes. It was quite evenings. No flying bugs. Had to rent fire pit $5/ night. It was worth it. We had Hoboken pizza one night. El Trompo tacos another night and another. Amazing pork and fish tacos, even pancakes and eggs for dinner. Rented surf boards at shop near cannon Ball which was a great sushi and burger restaurant along the coast. Tower 10 had better waves for surf and boogie boards. Campland has arcade. To top it all off we rented a wave runner at campland adventure sports. It was a blast. It was all walking distance or a 10 min drive to the coast. Also mission bay has a bay to wakeboard swim or hang out by the water 50' from the front gate....have fun! 9:45 or so every night sea world sets off fire works for 3-5 min.

Great Location, Poor Internet, No Pool
We have visited this park several times. The proximity to the bay and attractions such as Sea World and Pacific Beach make it a great location. The park is well kept, but does attract many families with young kids, so it’s pretty busy and noisy, so if you’re looking for a quiet place avoid weekends. One of our issues is with the WiFi and cable. WiFi is very spotty and 3 out 4 times we have been there we couldn’t even get the cable to work. I know it’s not our cable because it works everywhere else. With all the money they are charging you would think they could invest in better WiFi and cable. Spaces are a bit tight as well.

Need An Exterminator After This One...
Not to even mention the extremely tight spaces, where you’re practically breathing into your neighbors’ camper, OR the extremely overpriced sites, this campground gave us something we completely didn’t ask for- an ant invasion. We only stayed for one night, as we have been steadily traveling for about 3 weeks now across the country, and that’s all it took for tiny sand ants to now be crawling out of every crevice inside of our trailer. We woke up this morning with them all over, and went outside to find our neighbors in the site next to us we’re dealing with the exact same issue since they’ve been at this campground. The nightmare only continued to get worse when we got to our destination for tonight, and opened our trailer to find ants in everything - our clothes, our food, our beds and pillows, climbing up and down everything. We’re not looking forward to the second half of our trip, traveling back across the country with the thousands of ants coming with us.

Great Park, Great Location
Very friendly staff, good sized spots, great location, very clean, wonderful views, 24hr security, reasonable prices for the proximity to the coast and bay. Small laundry room - only 4 washers and dryers, but that's the only downside. Stayed for 30 days, have reservations for 2 more months in the near future. Staff is willing to do a little work (or even a lot of work) to juggle spots to accommodate month long stays (other parks I've been to won't put forth the effort). Can't say enough about this park, just plain wonderful, highly recommend staying here when in San Diego.

Big Parking Lot
Nice and clean, but just a big parking lot. It is close to the bay and we were able to walk to nearby park and beach. Close to Sea World- literally just a 5 minute drive away.

Plain Jane
This place is nice. Near the beach. Not much grass or shade. It's a big concrete parking lot. Filled with people. However, I got a refund and took my family to Campland. There is no pool here. My 3 year young daughter prefers the pool.

There are some very nice areas if this park. Unfortunately we were not in one of them. Full disclosure, we are newbies and just took the space they told us to. While half the pull through spaces were vacant we were stuffed between two other campers. Literally overlapping awnings. Dumb. Know the map of the park. The staff are very friendly and will I believe help you make the best decision. Unfortunately if you don't go prepared and are willing to challenge you may end up with a bad experience. Also very expensive.

Location, Location, Location
The people working there are great and professional. The facilities are a bit out dated and run down.
