Fall is The Way to Go.
First Stop of our Redwoods NP Adventure. Great camp sites with plenty of space. We stayed for one night down along the river (preferred). The sites on the river side and individualized with nice stone walls that provide plenty of space for a camper and tow vehicle. Nestled among huge Redwoods, very beautiful. Like most NP Campgrounds no hookups. Clean updated restrooms nearby, pay showers $0.50 for 2 minutes. Water close to campsites. We stayed in an 14 foot hard side pop up, easy to maneuver. There were much larger rigs there as well. Foot print of campsite is generous. Parking area separate from table/fire ring/ food storage. Ample room if you were to throw up a tent as well.

Beneath The Redwood Trees
Very scenic, forested campsites. Extra room in sites for tent. Each site had a fire ring, picnic table and bear box to lock up your food. Showers and restrooms but no hook-ups or water at sites.

A Great Park
In the redwoods — fantastic. Deep sites, privacy, relatively quiet. Several excellent day hikes to choose from. Spaces and roads are tight. Ranger told me that next year they’ll limit max motorhome size to 25’. That seems about right to me.

Great Campsite
One of the best. Sites in 50’s are on the Smith river. Stayed last week of April before the rush. Campground was still moderately full. Quiet good facilities. We don’t need plug in or water. Watched a family of ospreys feeding on the river for ½ day. Tight roads for some of those RV’s.
