The problem with this camping spot is it has become popular sense I first started camping here. It is a first come first serve no reservation camp. I usually wait for a storm and grab a spot early. WARNING! Have an alternate camping spot! Unless it is off season it is always full !!! Also if you do get a spot check the lake levels. When the lake is low no water for swimming or boat mooring. A lesser problem is small deer tics. They are tolerable but check your socks. Other than that it is a nice little spot to camp.

McCloud Bridge Campground
Very nice senery. Big camp sites with water access and place to park the boat. Drinking water but not at camp sites. Bear boxes, tent space, fire pits with grill and vault bathrooms. Level trailer spaces with plenty of room for second vehicle. Downside no dump stations with in 30 miles. No showers or water hook ups very primitively amenities. First come first serve no reserving so no way to tell you can stay before you make the trip. Have backup plan.
