2 Surge Protectors Down The Drain

Well, was our second trip to the lodge and now the second surge protector to get melted in to the outlet. Continually got low voltage notifications, breakers popping, and now the protector melted, but I guess that it’s job. Exact same thing happened the first time we stayed. Yep, we very well know how to function with a 50 amp coach to 30 amp service, been full timing for years now and stayed at many places with 30 amp for months with no issues at all. The camp host, if we could find him, doesn’t seem to know anything about RVs, including that propane systems could leak, when we notified him of our neighbors who were gone had a leaky connection. We were going to stay for about a week and left after 3 days, couldn’t risk further damage. Sorry to say, but this RV parking is a disgrace to the Elks.
