looks like a big truck stop
We booked two nights at San Francisco RV Resort, but our experience left us deeply disappointed. This RV park resembled a truck stop more than a place for relaxation. The entire park is paved with asphalt, and the markings are like those on a regular parking lot. There is absolutely no personal space: RVs are parked facing each other, so when you step outside, you literally bump into your neighbor’s door. Instead of the promised relaxation and comfort, we experienced cramped conditions and inconvenience.

Cramped Quarters
We travel as part of our jobs and have stayed in a lot of different RV parks, this was the worst. It’s very cramped, close quarters. We knew it was going to be a parking lot and were prepared for that part, but we were appalled - we felt where we were (in the back) was dirty, a fire hazard and the trailers were supposed to alternate to allow for pop outs and were all in the same direction. We were supposed to stay for 6 months, we were there for less than 48 hours. There are other campsites for “extended campers” that are much nicer, for about the same price in the same general area. We would not recommend this site for an extended stay. A few days would be fine since their pull through sites up front seemed ok, but not idea for long-term. The front staff were nice enough but did not offer to help resolve issues either.

Great location. Horrible Staff.
Location is great. Spots are a little tight but not that bad. Pacifica is a great town. Close to everything you would need or want to do. Don't ask the staff for anything they are extremely rude and cannot even be nice when you have simple questions.

Great location
We stayed for a week in 44’ MH. Loved it. Location is perfect fro getting into and out of downtown SF. Traffic was never a problem. Views of ocean are nice, but it was windy and salty air made a mess of the RV. The ladies in the office were very helpful, accommodating, and friendly. Great place to stay to see the sights of SF. Airport only 15 minutes away.

Not So Fun
Spaces are to close together. Facilities are dated for the money.

Ok, But Expensive
This is the campsite closest to San Francisco I could find that allowed online reservation and still had some spots left. The camping spot are small, just barely wide enough to put your RV in. The shower is nice enough and they do sell propane. So perfect for my last stop before returning the RV. The spot cost me 77 USD before taxes and a resort fee, which is quite steep for what you get. The personel at the office is nice and friendly and are more than happy to explain how to get to downtown San Francisco from there. Tip: just grab an Uber....

Like staying at Walmart except with utilities. Can't open the canopy because you're too close to your neighbor. And the price is horrendous!

Very nice people, place not so much. Very cramped spots all pavement and last year the lot caved into the sea. Also an over abundance of Pit Bulls

More Parking Lot Than Campground
While Pacifica is lovely, this site not so much. All paved, vehicles packed close together, and very few sites able to see the nearby ocean. Wifi is advertised, but not really available. You get 10 min free, and then have to sign up for use on a fee basis that is in addition to the high site fees. The only nice thing I can say about the site is that the staff were very friendly.
