Family Friendly
Staying a week at Newport Dunes Resort in Newport Beach. Been coming here forever unfortunately they have done nothing in all that time to improve the resort. Sites are tight and can barely handle today’s larger RV’s. As a result the roadway is packed with vehicles, chairs, fire pits, etc. for the same money there are better resorts in SoCal. No longer recommend this resort.

Only If Your Millionaire!!!!!
Most expensive! Over crowded! Nightmare in SoCal! Staff is a bunch of rude snowflakes that hate you as soon as you walk in!!!! Only thing this rv Campground has going for it is the location! I’d rather stay at a Walmart parking lot!

Great Location, Tight Spaces
The locations is amazing. We had a great time swimming and hanging out the beach. Pool area is really nice. The spots are extremely tight. Lucky for us we stayed mid week and had few neighbors but I wouldn’t want to stay when all spaces are booked. Also for the price we paid I was hoping for cleaner restrooms and showers.

Party Central.
Party Central. Not what we were expecting or looking for. Most spaces are very tight. We had to have left side wheels and stabilizers on the pad. Loud music booming all day till midnight with no enforcement. Most not wearing masks. Good views of the bay from first 2 rows. In my opinion not worth the price.

Pricey, But Hey, It’s Newport Beach Ca.
We have been a few times, we don’t go for the park, we go for the location to everything else. Forget about the price until you really understand it’s about the area not the park itself. The way to really enjoy this place is bring a bicycle. Ride around Newport Beach and see the all the sites. Beach, pier, shopping restaurants, marina, ride across the street to the island and take the ferry across to the landing where there is arcades, attractions, rides for kids, a Ferris wheel, ride along the coast bike path for hours from Newport to Huntington, there is so much to do and see, the dog beach, rent an electric boat and go around the marina, etc.. just go sightseeing.

Meh
I’ve never stayed at a campground (and this is our 15th and final campground) where I had to push a button every 15 seconds to get shower water AND paid $130 for it. That is crazy. I’m trying to give 2 kids showers and myself and I can’t believe this place calls it a resort when you can’t even be trusted to take a hot shower. In terms of view it looks like you’re camping on a lake (there’s nothing spectacular about the view). Kids loved the playground. There’s a positive! Never again.

My experience there
My opinion when I went there ,it was way over priced and had to pay a electical on top of the high daily price! If you would happen to have someone over for dinner they would have to pay $10 after the first hour they were their!I was in Palm Springs at a RV park before going over there and the weather is about 10° cooler there than in Palm Springs and usually the wind is always blowing!I know I will never go there again!!!

Pricey but It Is Newport Beach So...
I am relatively new to this but I felt like was appropriate value for $ spent. There is an ant problem and I wish our spot had a concrete pad BUT the place is clean, it's quiet and the bathrooms are very clean. I saw them cleaned at least 3 times one Saturday. That part of the back bay is sort of stagnant so it kind of has that skeeve factor but its a bay, not the ocean. Pool was clean and nice, store was handy and I am happy they discounted my rate for Good Sam membership. Note that you have to show them in person, it doesn't allow you to enter on the website. My family loves the weekend.

I Might Go One Day But I'm Not Sure
I've never been here but I might go here one day. It deserves 3 stars I'm not sure why but it does. I highly recommend this place, but if it's no good don't blame me because I've never been. Sounds like it might have some dunes or something. I hope there is something to eat in the park as well as a bowling thing. I'm just hoping it's going to be ok, I'm crossing my fingers and stuff. I hope this review helps.

I would like go back, decent park great location but way over priced. Unfortunately I will not return due to cost. We were there last December and there was more empty sites than filled.

Review Of Newport Dunes RV Park
Nice location, facilities, and setting but overpriced and staff not too b responsive to requests. There is plenty of open space (110 acres) and yet they charge $16 a day to park 2nd vehicle and ding visitors for parking more than 30 minutes. Also, when their reservations are finally reached by phone, they don't quote their lowest available rate, try to push everyone to "premium" vs "standard" RV spaces. They are inflexible and not accomodating to b requests for lower rates once they lock you in.
