Well run park. Nice peninsula with a beach. Was windy but perhaps April just is windy. Expect to hear ATV noise well into the night (11pm).

We’ve stayed here before and it’s a great place for the family. Unfortunately we’ve been trying to stay here again but have had a miserable time getting a hold of anybody. Other people I have spoken with have said the same thing. Please answer your phones or return messages.

Stayed 4 nights, weather was great. Nice park and quiet this time of year. Stayed on the peninsula on the water, nice site. Good restaurant and bar. Rented a pontoon boat, water was low and hit the sand and bent the prop $$$ I think it happens a lot so avoid renting a boat. Also when they say avoid the sand with your vehicle they mean it. Got stuck but got out without help. Great stay, we recommend this place!

Very Cool Place To Camp!

We stayed here one night while passing through, and plan to go back soon. We have a 45’ DP with a tag axle and opted for a peninsula site, you may not want to take a super nice motorhome back there if you like it to stay clean. Mine is nice but I don’t mind some dust and the bumpy roads back to the campsites. The view in the morning is amazing. We rolled in at 1 AM, went to the security gate and were able to get a site without calling ahead. Had a nice morning by the Colorado and then headed out at 10 AM. Hookups are good, WiFi is pretty slow but that’s to be expected in the desert I think. The campsite was sand but it’s packed down really well so my 48k lb coach had no problem getting in and out.

A very nice resort on the Colorado. Since the weather was pleasant, I decided to dry camp and saved $55.

Beware Of Weather!!

It was an ok park, but we couldnt stay long just because of weather. It is over 110degrees during summer!! We didnt know that there was a desert climate! It was miserable:(

Have been there twice. One of our favorite places. Accidentally showed up on a poker run weekend. Since then have bought a toy hauler and in the market for a side by side. Can't wait to get back with the side by side.

Loved

Stayed at an RV site with full hookups, well worth the price. The space we stayed at had a capacity for 4 RV'S, our neighbors turned out to be very nice people. They had their own boat and took us for a ride which was very nice. My children had a blast playing in the sand and water. We will definitely be back!

Dry Camped

We dry camped for a quick overnight stay in a large, flat gravel parking lot for $15. It was just far enough off the freeway to not hear it. There was a dump station also right there. We had a good dinner of baby back ribs and a couple of beers for a fare price. They will even send a shuttle to take you to the restaurant if you don't or can't make the short walk to the restaurant. They also have full hook ups that were quite pricey as this is a large resort on the river with many amenities.
