Too Much $$ For Too Little

Hot was expected, no shade, many sites didn't have picnic tables, early (9am) checkout was not expected. Bathrooms were clean, no cold water, no mirrors. Security guard at the entrance was great, made sure we knew where we were going, came down after we settled in to point out bathrooms, laundry, etc. Would have loved to spend a couple hours checking out the beaches, lagoon, and river, but the 9am checkout got us moving way too early.

Horrible Horrible Horrible

This is the worst place I have ever seen. Dirty, disgusting, and the staff is absolutely horrendous. The place looks like a crack house in the middle of the desert. Looks and feels very unsafe. Do not stay here!

Wonderful staff. All around . Manager was really knowledgeable about the park and the surrounding food establishments around (not many). Office gals, mainenance guys were friendly. Water is very re refreshing. Lots of grass all around the park. Few dog areas. Bbq's at all the sites. Lots of room as you can see. I'll be back. We appreciate hospitality.

A Golfers Haven

Pros-Access to 4 beaches, Year ‘round hot tub and heated pool, Although posted “dogs on leash” I take my dog down to the beach which is isolated and empty of rvers, reasonable rates, right next door (literally) to a public golf course with very reasonable rates, quiet, friendly residents, boat launch and slips available, very layer back, many returning. Con-sites are sand or dirt, pool is small and doesn’t provide any lounges, the laundry room is cleaned by a guest without any compensation from the management because she couldn’t stand the mess, laundry room doesn’t provide any carts so you are expected to haul your wet laundry from the washer over to the dryers, no vending machines in laundry for change, detergent or laundry products, you can get change or buy a limited supply of laundry products from the office/store, office won’t refund money lost to faulty washers or dryers, told to write to the company, only activities are Bunco, Poker and Bingo which are organized by guests.

If you get close, you need to stay here!

This has turned out to be a terrific “find“ for us. Brittney took our phone reservation and later checked us in; she is an absolute doll! Friendly staff, clean and well kept park, well stocked store on premise, quiet at night and is now on our “Must Visit“ list for our trips down from Washington State. Remember, ask for Brittany, she’s the best!

For the price in end of October, not much going on and could not use the pool, a little pricey and there was a lot of trash around.

Destination Resort Park

This is a very well kept park at a very reasonable price. Pool and hot tub, laundrymat, convenience store, dog park, local delivery from restaurants, beachside access to the River. I would go there again as a destination.
