Great Location, Lots of Good Sites

This area is a hiker and bicyclist wonderland. With the lake, waterfall, paved trails, and hiking accessible from the campground, we were happy to have picked this place. There are many large sites to choose from, however many in the upper loop along the outer edge are sloped, which makes leveling difficult. The lower loop is flat and I saw many big rigs. Avoid sites #1-8 which are right on the road and lack any privacy. The store has some food and cold beer, boat and kayak rentals, a dump station ($12), and there is a rv water fillup area. Trash cans and bathrooms present. Accepts some federal discount passes.
