We booked a handicapped site several months in advance. However, when we got there we found that a non-handicapped family had decided they wanted the spot. Was told by park staff to “just pick somewhere else”. No other handicapped locations available. When we finally chose a vacant space we were told we couldn’t use it because the space might be needed in 2 days. We had planned to stay 3 days.
Transient woman roamed the camp sites and kept asking for a place to stay. We told the camp host, who appeared to not be concerned about it. We could hear the woman talking to campers until the early morning.
On the up-side, the facilities we clean and the beach was within a very short bike ride.
On site store had basics needed and reasonably priced.

$45
Tent Camping Solo
Very great for getting away from the “hum” of the city. No cell service. Water pumps, bathroom, shower & a shop that’s open till 8 but it’s $$$. The campsite was great and I wish I could have stayed longer but $45/night solo was out of my budget as far as long-term. I would def split a spot in the future.
RV electric hookups are also available. Quick access to the beach, just over the highway.

Family Fun
Close to beach, fun surf and tide pools. Store is well stocked. Bathrooms a little dirty, but fine. Overall was a blast and we plan to make it an annual trip.

Nice
We spent a peaceful night here in spot number 54. Huge trees, clean bathrooms, good vibe from fellow campers. I would stop here again and consider staying for more than one night.
