Limited Shade
They do have a water fill station on the way in and spigots through the park. Not much shade but the place is kept up well. Some hiking and Lone Pine is only 2 miles north. Visit the Film Museum and the Alabama Hills nearby.

Nice Surprise
We reserved a site ahead of our trip. I chose a spot backing up to the lake, figuring on walking to the swimming area. It was a pleasant surprise to see a break in the tules and tiny beach right at our site (74). The wind was blowing so we did not launch our kayaks.
We did not find water faucets. Outhouses are clean.

Dry Camp
Passing through...nice county park and inexpensive. The fairly level gravel spots are located on the back side of the lake where there is very little noise. Great for dry camping for the night. I’d definitely return if I was in the area.

Nice Lake And Morning Sun
Bang for the buck is great. We had a no hookup site, right on the lake. Spacious site could be cleaner. The site was well marked, we came it at night. The area past the logs , between site and lake needs to be cleaned from dog diamonds. Other than that it's a fun campground with lots to do, fishing, dirt bike, walking, hiking, etc..

Diaz Lake Campground
Nice quiet little spot, at least in December. Nice campgrounds, well maintained. Worth the stop for at least one night.
