Could be a nice experience.... but. Good location however .state Parks abandons the place at sundown and on weekends , especially there are loud drunken parties u till late into the morning. Fine if that's what u go to the woods for - otherwise definitely not fun! I have seen a general decline in Park staffing at many State Parks in Ca.They seem to just want yr money and then bail out! One place ( Bodega Dunes) where we had a reservation was totally unstaffed all day and the space where we had reserved and PAID in advance online was closed off! We just took a space and when we complained to the ranger the next day they just laughed it off, ha!ha!
