The park was closed for covid but is now open and just as nice as ever. Convenient to shopping, easy access, seldom crowded. Great place to stop between the big cities

Campground Closed
The park is open but the campground is closed. Not sure why, nobody around to ask.

$40
Beautiful park with lots of spaces. Came here cause pinnacles was full, we were one of maybe 5 here. Laundry, showers, & bathrooms. Be prepared for mosquitos though. $45 full hookup, $40 water & electric, ($30 dry I think) $10 additional fee for credit cards
Would stay again

Peaceful
This is a large Shady Park like Campground. There were a few tent areas, but mostly nice large even sites where you could back up or pull into , which was convenient. I know I saw some tent people using regular sites which I don't think they should have been doing unless they paid for them. Maybe they needed to hook up to Water and Electric too, but never saw this before. It's a mostly quiet place to spend the night, but not much else there to do. You have to pay extra for a dog, but it was just a few dollars. They are on the honor System where you are paying like you do in the national park at a box with envelopes, but they will not accept checks. They also have a dump station where you can dump for free if you stayed there. We would definitely come back again.

An Unexpected Gem
This is a large pleasant park with level sites, some shaded. Walking distance to a small shopping center. The park is home to a wonderful agricultural equipment and heritage museum. The museum makes it worth a stop all by itself
