I usually describe campgrounds the good, the bad and the ugly. Here is goes.
The good: All the camp sites are paved and the roads in the campground are paved; tap water is close to the each site; bathrooms are close to camp sites and with very clean flushing toilets. Shower rooms are as good as it get but you have to pay $1.25 to take a shower.
The fishing sites are plenty with lots of fish.
The bad: we walked thru all the camp sites of more 140 and found that THE CAMPGROUND IS NOT FOR RVS. At least the designers had NO RVers in mind! Why? Most sites are at angles to the road and you have to back up rv in the passenger side making backing you rv blind into the site. I had my brand new trailer damaged due to jackknifing my truck and trailer. Upon leaving at the dump station I met another family whose brand new truck and their fifth wheel RV were damaged while backing blind into their site!
The ugly: Clear Lake is NOT clear but an algae soupy green sea.
