Absolutely stunning. However, somewhat for the advanced camper. The trail to get here is mostly uphill and about 2.3 miles. Beautiful walk, stunning foliage as well as a few bear caves (careful). Make sure you bring enough food and water!! Pack light, but smart. Beautiful at night, maybe a little eerie if alone (you usually are) but beautiful and peaceful. You most likely WILL encounter some wildlife so be prepared. I saw a mom bear and two Cubs and a bigger male bear who came snooping at night. Saw a few deer, a snake or two, lots of lizards and heard a pretty loud roar in the mid night (mountain lion). But that's what makes this campground so amazing. Its rural and beautiful. Gives ya a thrill!
