Nice Campground
I stayed a couple nights end of August in a full hookup site (50). Site and campground very clean. 30 and 20 amp. Sites are well situated so that you aren’t really close to the next campsite. Staff was friendly. Fairly quiet for a large campground. This site is close to the highway but noise wasn’t a problem. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice, Quiet, Calm, Clean
Stayed here a couple of nights during the summer, everyone was very respectful, sited are very large and the camp hosts are always roaming the areas. With that said, be very careful if you stay next to the camp hosts, I have little ones and always follow the rules, I always clean and love nature, love leaving everything cleaner than I found it. Being next to the host I found that we would get reminders of all the rules, even a reminder on my 3rd night at 730pm that quiet time was at 10pm.... really, I have an access pass and camp every other week, I don't need reminders.

It's Been A While
It's been several years since we were there, but memories are good. Clean, quiet (especially during the week). Many activities around Big Bear Lake. One good one is to ride chair lift up Summit one way and hike up/down the other (or bike down). If you want small town civilization, Big Bear Lake offers plenty of choices. Headsup: If it's very hot off the mountain, it will be hot on the mountain.

Stayed three nights in April 2017. Full hookups. Shady. Spacious. Level site. Quiet in the middle of the week but more families with younger noisy kids arrived near weekend. Showers and bathroom facilities were very clean. Within walking distance to shore and trails. Hosts were friendly and available if needed. Really enjoyed the stay and would definitely go back!

Nice, Quiet Campground
We had a non-hookup site. It was generously sized. It's a maybe half mile walk to the very pretty lakeshore. This is on the north side of the lake; the town is on the south side.
