BLM public land requires a pre qualification process for access. BLM public land has different laws governing it different from the National Forest. BLM has a 14day/year limit, that is for any and all districts. This was done in 1969 to assure these lands remain untouched by human contact. It is a trespassing ticket and or arrested for trespassing if caught on BLM public land without the access permits. Available at any National Forest office.
