The Beach
I'm a San Diego guy, so I can go to the beach any time. I love camping at the beach, but this isn't worth it and I even camped free with a distinguished veterans pass. No sewer, charge $10 to dump on your own or $20 for the truck to pump it out if you can get him in the morning. You're in prison from 7pm to 7am (gates are locked) trapped half the day. Find a better place with full hookups and just spend the day or evening on the beach.

Winter
Sand was moved to create a sand wall and blocked the ocean view from our prime space. The wall will be leveled for summer months. Dolphins and plenty of starfish on the beach. Bring your own fire pit.

Strange Rules
If you own a Campervan, beware you will need to have a little chemical toilet although there are restrooms!
Without any they won’t let you stay for the night...those are rules they said.

We camp here at least 5-6 times a year.
It does close at 8pm, but you can park a vehicle across the street at the Cays and bike in and out anytime. Beach front is the best if you can get it. Only has water and electric hook up. They do have a sewer dump near the bathrooms.
In the summer, a private company usually comes around daily and will empty your sewer for 20 bucks.

Parking Lot On The Beach
Super tight asphalt parking lot spaces with an 8pm curfew (can't enter or exit CG)... but at least it's on the beach. Would not recommend if you have an RV with slides on both sides or if you like looking out your windows... or using your patio... or enjoy campfires... or using your outside shower. But at least the beach is nice.

It's pretty much a parking lot. What you're getting is the beach at your door. Nice spot for a few days. Gates do get closed at 8pm.

A great spot right on the beach. Not much else than the beach except a bike path that leads to Coronado to the north and Imperial beach to the south. Be sure to reserve a beach front space for the best experience.

Great spot to camp on the beach! Spots are a little tight and no sewer at the sites but that didn't bother us. We didn't like the 8:00pm curfew, meant we couldn't go out to a later dinner.

It's a paved parking lot on the beach. Super tight spots, but the beach and bay access is amazing. I absolutely loved the tunnels to access the Bay side.
