$100
Sun Outdoor Resort
Finally an RV Park that really is a Resort. The back-in sites on the north end have a fabulous view of downtown San Diego, on the west edge a view of the bay. Amenities include a game arcade, a gym, restaurant, food trucks, organized activities etc.
Most sites have a sitting area with 4 Adirondack chairs with a gas fire pit (propane tank and cushions not included). Could use more privacy landscaping/hedges etc that might improve with age. Really a great place to bring a family.
Office staff is super helpful and friendly.

Hotel Prices-outrageous!
Hard pass. New (Apr ‘21) Sun Resort. Called to make a reservation and was told that I had to include a Saturday stay even though I only wanted to stay Wednesday Thursday and Friday. Cost averaged out for three nights to $191 per night. After asking about a military discount the price still had an average of $127 per night. The Sun company apparently is forgetting that we’re staying in our own homes and only utilizing a parking spot and their utilities. Nothing else in the San Diego area is over $100 per night for Thanksgiving weekend. No thanks!

First class
Yes the place is pricey but everything is brand new, clean and well maintained. There are numerous amenities including a fitness center, waterpark, pickle ball courts and pool. I have been to many RV parks and this is one of the best in the country. Make sure you take advantage of the Living Coast discovery Center which is right next door. Awesome!!!
Brand New place, just opened on April 2021. Has everything you can think off, complete hook ups, very spacious, pool, tennis court, basketball court, horseshoe, restaurant, bathrooms, showers, arcade room, etc. A little expensive but we'll worth it...
