Lovely Unregulated Park

Lots of rules none enforced. Adult swim 8am to 10 am, don’t count on it. Two hot tubs on weekends one will always be full of children under 4 with floats. Saturday night concert in back of truck, singing Lee Greenwood God Bless The USA with old white people holding hands and chanting America. Flags everywhere!! Obviously MAGA flags and Let’s Go Brandon are OK. My husband loves the park, me a big NO.

No Go!

Hard pass. New (Apr ‘21) Sun Resort. Called to make a reservation and was told that I had to include a Saturday stay even though I only wanted to stay Wednesday Thursday and Friday. Cost averaged out for three nights to $191 per night. After asking about a military discount the price still had an average of $127 per night. The Sun company apparently is forgetting that we’re staying in our own homes and only utilizing a parking spot and their utilities. Nothing else in the San Diego area is over $100 per night for Thanksgiving weekend. No thanks!

Very Nice Park But …

This was our first stay at Chula Vista RV park. Overall the park is beautiful, well maintained, clean, and the spots are spacious. It’s just a short walk to the ocean and marina. Very family friendly. A bit pricey but overall worth the money. I cannot give this park 5 stars for the following reasons: the neighborhood is ghetto (someone actually stole our spare tire cover!) - the internet is terrible (we were very close to the main building) and their cable channels were spotty at best. Watching the summer Olympics was impossible as the cable channels kept going out. I would definitely stay here again but know that there are shortcomings.

Great Amenities, Terrible Internet

This place is awesome in so many ways so I will list the really only downside first. There’s no internet unless you’re right next to their main building. I find it a bit frustrating to spend $200 a night and not be able to access internet. Good parts are great location, pool, hot tub. They have activities everyday and food trucks come through which was super fun.

Nice Location Near The Water

Open despite Covid - packed in fact. They have rules/guidelines and many seemed to follow. We had an outside spot with hedges around which visually make a nice break between sites. Concrete pad that was level and clean. Some noise from a nearby park but that sme park was really nice to walk an sit and watch the birds and kids could play in sand at low tide. Many nearby restaurants in Chula Vista and easy access to freeway. Transit trolley station is nearby and it would be a fairly easy 20 min walk if you wanted to head to downtown. Hoping to return.

Wonderful

My dad had his boat at the marina and loved staying there. The place is very clean showers and bathrooms are A +. We've stayed there a few times with my husbands parents. Summer BBQ and dancing so fun. Thanks I haven't been there since Covid but will again. Thank you.

You Get What You Pay For!

Although this place was slightly more expensive than average, it was an wonderful weekend getaway for the family. Wonderful pool/hot tub, pool table, fun family activities like cookie decorating and Sunday morning donuts. Centrally located, small gift/convenience store. More of a resort feel than a camping/nature feel but I highly recommend this place!

1st time there. Very clean grounds, and spacious spots. It backs to a marina and a park with a nice walking path along the water. Very peaceful. They also had a nicely stocked convenience store.

Great Park, So Sad It Has Closed

The park was clean, well maintained and pet friendly. The location, next to the marina, bay and park was just incredible. Really hate that it closed, as it was one of our favorite on our US trip.

We love this place! We are sad and very disappointed that it is closing, due to a hotel/resort is being built. It was such a nice park, friendly people who work here and close proximity to San Diego

Very nice park. Pretty expensive but not many choices in this area. They are doing a big development along the bay so this park has been closed. I am hoping it will e a part of the new development once it is done

This is a 5 star resort. Many activities for the whole family. Very clean. Nice pool. Nice space. Close to beach. Great staff.

Nice Park

Great park close to everything we wanted to do in San Diego Close to the Ocean Kids loved the pool Super clean Large laundry facilities Kids also loved the Easter Bunny Pancake breakfast! Small spots but paved and level! Highly recommend this stop if your in San Diego!

Very Nice Park!

Enjoyed this park! Very clean and all sites are spacious and bordered with hedges. The Marina restaurant was a pleasant walk and have great happy hour and daily specials. Friendly staff. We will stay again!

Nice RV Park

Great park, gets very crowed fast and is spendie but is close to the water front, very clean..... would stay again...

Very nice resort! Clean, well-maintained, nice landscaping, close to the marina so easy access to the water. Close to SD attractions. Spots were a little close together, but overall really enjoyed our stay!
