Confirming Georges review. Stayed in first camp ground. This is a hidden gem. Fires burned area in 2021, forced evacuations. Still, plenty of shade, fresh steam and charm. Local chain saw artist created beard out of burned tree trunks. Host is awesome. Clean and cared for.

Actually this campground has 40 campsites, some sites will handle a 43ft rv. 13 spots are on the creek. Great camp hosts as well. Water comes from a mountain spring and is very tasty and safe. I prefer this campground over the lake since it's more of a family campground than the party at the lake campgrounds. Reservations are easy to make, but make them early to get a good spot. My favorites are 3, 5, 7, 20, 21, 27, 29. All reserve sites. If you get a site on the road side. No worries, so little traffic you'll probably never see it.
