Our Go To Campground In Bishop
Six years ago we discovered Browns on our way home from the desert. Since then we have been back 5 or 6 times now. It is always clean. Easy to park our Eurovan. Generally quiet. We have cruised in for one night and stayed 3 nights. Good access to town or to hiking and sightseeing. Try it...you'll like it.

Brown’s Town Review
Had made a reservation and the sent me a hard copy receipt to my house via mail. Didn’t want $ at that time and wouldn’t get billed until I showed up. 2 nights in town visiting family- there’s always something going on in area. Labor Day weekend not full but a lot of campers. Couple sets of regular bathrooms and showers-they asked me if I wanted to buy shower tokens on registering. I asked about dump and it was $5.

Quiet & Open
Quiet campground and caught it right before it closed for the season. Had everything we needed.

We called for reservations on Sunday for Monday afternoon and was told the park was full. Interestingly when we passed by leaving town Tuesday morning there were numerous empty sites. Hmmm....

Figured It Was Time To Stop.
We’ve driven by this campground several times in the past years...so, it was time to check it out. Nice sized spaces, nice campground, and wonderful views of the mountains.
Was a bit disappointed that there is not space specific circuit breaker for the electrical hookup, so you are hooking up to a live circuit.
Store was nice and had items we needed so saved a trip back to town for groceries.
Only there one night so the pay-for-use dump station was not a big deal.
We would stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

You can’t beat the view and the weather this week has been in the low 90s! Lots and lots of grass and they water it a lot... lol
We didn’t use the showers cause we have a RV but there super clean and cost $2 for 7 minutes... wash fast. We would stay here again if in the area ..

Kids Had Fun
I really liked this place. Wasn't to busy this time of year so that was a bonus. Site 45 was great. Everything was clean and taken care of. The office staff was great to. The kids had fun looking in the museum and playground. It's a great location

Resting Under The Trees
Great spot after a long day of driving. We did not have a reservation and they were great for drop ins. We had a nice spot in the grass, with big trees. Some Hwy noise, but that was expected. We would use this place again.

Nice In Nov
The trees were very yellow and pretty. Camp ground was first come first serve. Was about half full for Thanksgiving. We stayed for 3 nights. Lots of road noise at night is my only complaint.

Thank you for the $5.00 refund
Good to hear you do not lock your dump station on a regular basis.

A bit pricey as there is no sewer. They also charge $5.00 to dump. Shade is so so depending on your site and time of the day.
