Rough and Noisy Weekend
Due to the lack of choices for camping in the area, we decided to stay here on a Friday night. The roads through the campground were quite rough on my 25' class C. The majority of the sites were small and unlevel, many without any privacy. After finding a decent spot away from some unsavory characters and along the creek, we thought we were going to get a good night's sleep listening to the gentle water flow by. Nope. Instead, we got to hear and see the lights of OHVs driving through the campground well into the night. A cheap spot ($14) which might be okay during the week but avoid weekends here.

Just like boondocking but $14
Just like camping in a free spot out in the boonies. You come in the dirt road to find yourself a place to park and you park there. The only sign that there is any organization is the picnic table. And the place where you pay the $14 to a machine. And read the signs about plague being found in the area which I think are standard in California. I kind of liked it
