Friendly & accommodating. The owner did not ask for a credit card to hold the spot. Our spot was covered with a lot of fine dirt. The park was overall run down but we only used our RV for showers. Overpriced at around $40.

A One Nighter Only.
Very old dated showers remind me of a 1950's gas station bathroom. Tight spaces. The management was friendly but doubt they are a Good Sam park.

Lovely Family Run Campground
Our 5th wheel is having problems with jacks. We wanted to spend the night without detaching. They moved things around to accommodate us, helped us get parked, took care of everything. An older park, but very well run and maintained.

Very nice retro park. Clean. The sites are level with a concrete patio. Nice showers and laundry. Very nice people and great service. Out of the way but convenient. Nice surprise.

Cute little place. A bit dated but clean. Spots are good enough for a 60ft rig. Will come come back.

I'm staying just for the night, the people were great and real friendly/helpful. Have a great handout about miles to different cities. Also gave me advice on best way to get to highway, since I need to get gas in the morning.
I would stay again.

Quiet location away from highway. Very friendly staff who escorts you and helps you get located. They do accept credit cards. Only $36 with Good Sam unless you want 50 amp which is $4 more. Small park, so reservations recommended.

Ok For Overnite
Stayed for one nite. Dirt lot with narrow long concrete patio, picnic table. Management very friendly and helpful, escort you to you lot and explain hookups. Pretty quiet. WiFi pretty good. Didn’t use facilities. $36 with Good Sam so hardly a bargain. Would expect $25, max $30 for this place. Very packed in.

King Of The Hammers
This is a very clean RV park for being as old as it is. We stayed here one night on our way to the king of the hammers. I will stay here again next year.

Outstanding Customer Service
We were delayed more than 2 hrs. by a flat tire and they stayed open for us till we arrived at 11:15 pm! Cheerfully guided us into a flat drive-through site and helped hook up. We have a 5th wheel so did not use shower/bathroom.

The reason we give this place 5 stars is because of the wonderful proprietors, their friendliness and helpfulness, our 43' rig plus our tow vehicle went smoothly into a nice pull through. The water, sewer, and electricity were conveniently located. The trash and recycle were also very handy. We highly recommend this Shady Lane RV Camp!

Rustic But Comfortable
Thanks to the other reviews we read, we pulled in today for one night. We're pulling a 43' 5ver and at first sight, I thought no way but they have a sight along the rear fence for any size RV.
Don and his family have been owner/operators of this 35 site park for over 40 years. The welcome is second to none. He brings you in and let's you get completely settled and the. Go see him to pay. Park is dirt and gravel. Had a laundry room and bathroom and that's about it. Some long timers and a lot of us snow birds staying a night or two.
For $39 (full hookups, 50 amp) this little place is great. We have now found our go to park in Barstow for Overnighters

Quiet
A bit rustic, but neat as a pin and really quiet. Does not accept credit cards but does take personal checks. Sort of a blast from the past, but if we find ourselves needing a place near Barstow in the future we'll stay here again.
