Nice park very clean and quiet, full hookups at some sites electric and water at others. Museum and exhibits of original town site.

Clean, Great Stay
Park is well managed. Clean, quiet, well managed. If you need firewood, go to Clay’s Pallet Mill in Pocahontas. They’ve got a pile of dry wood you can park next to and load no charge by helping them dispose of it. Just make sure you load the dry wood.

Old Davidsonville State Park
Very enjoyable weekend here! Very clean and well kept, nice lake and fishing pier. Enjoyable bike riding - a few graded hills but tolerable for my average skills. They have a new visitor center/museum with interesting displays. Great RV sites. Only reason I wouldn’t rate a 5 is lack of swimming site/pool.

A Beautiful Jewel
I stayed here for a weekend. I loved it here. Very well kept, and managed. There is a beautiful lake, a very nice place to unwind and rest. The park has all the amenities. I plan to go there again and again. ;-)
