Awesome Small Campground!
What a gem! Not a glamping campground, but beautiful peaceful change. Only 16 sites, with only 2, 50 amp sites. We were lucky enough to get one. Site is huge and private. Has fire pit with grill, separate bbq, siting area and great hook ups. Bear proof refuge container on site as well. Half off if disabled! Site 3 wasn't completely level, but quick fix. Sights and hiking were breathtaking. No laundry, cable or wifi, but restrooms and showers were clean. Cell service was spotty. Gorgeous lodge with great overlooks and restaurant close by. A diamond in the rough.

Super State Park
Wife and I made the trip from Shreveport because we had heard how nice it was. It truly is a great place to camp. Employees are very helpful and courteous. The park is huge but well signed. Very clean facilities. Sites are not too close together and have fire pit and fire ring. Quiet and picturesque. Abundance of wildlife. We will come back.

3-day stay late June 2018
Good first impression when we drove up. Very clean with well-maintained showers & trash pickup. Appreciated the frequent presence of park personnel. Wonderful overlooks in short walking distance via a little trail. Was so nice & mildly cool even though normal in-town temps were near 100°!
Our two Boston Terriers seemed to enjoy also. No children in our section. Very peaceful and relaxing weekend, so needed for stress relief & hot weather break. This is definitely on our getaway list. Remember to bring tick repellent. Lots of ticks. Very poor cellphone reception. Still worth 5 stars!

Nice park!
Really nice, no pull throughs, but still easy access to back in, with long deep sites for RV’s. Very clean with several hiking trails in the park, and a very nice lodge on the south rim of the mountain. We visited in October and the park was full.

Fantastic
We stayed here to visit the high point of Arkansas. They could easily have put more than twice as many camping sites in the campground. The 17 sites are well spaced. We had full hookup. There are nice hiking trails throughout the park. We had a great meal one night at the lodge.
