My son and I arrived around 7 PM, without making prior reservations (WED 6/15/22) and found 6 of the 10 sites available. We settled on site
F, close access to the river ( approximately 30 yard walk) / flat site; with a mix of shade and open; paved walk way to the shower facility - good hot water. Nice, well maintained CG. Be cautious of Raccoons with your food and garbage - they are not scared to come help themselves to anything left unsecured. We paid on our way out via the drop box ( they prefer you pay one day at a time). Take time to take the trail up to the bluff look outs over the river - find the trail by the visitors center - the sights are spectacular. Our only issue was that a group came in around 12:30am, with loud hound dogs, barking (probably at the raccoons?! - nothing the camp could have controlled.
