Quiet and Shady
We stopped here for one night. J.B. very friendly and nice. Cash only. Bath house good, plenty of hot water and heated timer. No wi fi. Beautiful setting in tall pine trees with great fragrance of pines. Farm next door with animals to watch. Lake at other end of campground. Good value.

Very Nice Overnight Stop
Was traveling back from the Smoky Mountains and stopped here overnight. Called and reserved a spot the night before. When I arrived J.B. met me at the office and then got me to my site. $30 cash or check for 50 amp pull thru full hookup. Best value anywhere out there for what you get. The site was long enough to leave my toad attached and surrounded by gorgeous pine trees. Will definitely use this place again when passing through.

Good spot to stop overnight. Man was super nice and met me with bag in hand. It was $30 a night and a real bargain. 50 & 30 amp. Dump and gravel was level. No wifi but that is ok for money. Lot of full timers there evidence the lines of mailboxes. But was no problem.

Nice For A Stop
Needed to stop for the night on I30. Called ahead. Nice gentleman advised which sites were full hookups and to just park and put $ in an envelope in the office. Water pressure was great. No wifi, but our data connection was excellent. Lots of trees. Very quiet.

Host was very friendly & helpful. Pull thru site was not the best l've had but OK. Camp was prettier than most - esp for a 1 night easy access passin-thru stop. Ark would be a great state to tour if they just had some decent roads. JB's I would recommend, esp for a stop off & a bargin for full hoop-up @ $30/night & not have to unhook the dingy. BTW - good water pressure & voltage w/both AC's on - when was the last time I had all that? 6/6/17

We stayed here one night while traveling through the area. We didn't have a reservation but called around 8 or 9pm. The phone was answered promptly and a very polite gentleman said there was room and 50 amp service for our class A 43fter. He had went home already and told us we could leave payment at the office drop box. Personally I liked the old school honor system. Park was close to I-30. It s a little tight with all the trees but very doable. We didn't use any of the on sight facilities so I can't comment on those. Lots are gravel but nice and neat even around what seemed to be full timers. Would definitely stay here again.

I can see why Arkansas is the diamond state because this park is a diamond in the rough. At 89% humidity we needed some AC when we stopped for the night this was the closest place and I called around 8 pm they answered promptly were very polite and they had a spot so 3 for 3 right there. When we arived it was off the paved road but nothing severe. Very important though when you see the sign that has the space number on it there is an arrow as well that tells you what direction to pull in. Only 1 problem that we had and that was losing one leg of the 220v power. I called the number for the office and informed them about it thay seemed concerned about it and said they would send their electrician out to look at it. Only time will tell if they repaired it.
