This is a great boondocking spot, there are many spots to choose from from small to large RVs you can find a spot. We camped here in our 41ft DP without problems. Hiking is great in area watch area for small Cati watch if you have paws with you. If you continue into the refuge beware of large wash which is deep & can be promatic with large rigs we chose to camp outside to avoid wash. Border patrol is outside of area & patrol regularly
