I was a little surprised by this park. It is a KOA on steroids. Nothing to say in a negative way.

Best Place To Stay In Tucson!

This is the place we keep coming back to whenever we come into Tucson for a concert, event, or just a weekend getaway. Excellent restaurant on site too. Lots of activities for the kids. 2 pickleball courts. Highest recommendation.

Honestly loved this place. Would stop for the night on trips to and from Texas. Got reservations for both directions. 1/2 way to Texas the people I was going to see got covid... Had to cancel the return night that was over a week away. They would not waive the $10 cancelation fee. On my way to Texas again. Staying at Crazy Horse RV and loving it!

The Best KOA in America

We have been to many KOA parks, but this park is absolutely fabulous. Courteous staff, exceptionally clean park. On site BBQ restaurant with amazing “Sticky Wings” and ribs. Level concrete pads and an extra paved area for the toad. Our rig is 43.5 feet long being pulled by a 22-foot RAM 3500 long bed dually. The site was a pull-through with plenty of room to spare. Didn’t have to unhook for the night. Easy access off and on I-10. This is a five-star resort. We will be back.

Very Nice Resort

We enjoyed our stay here. Easy access from I-10. Beautifully landscaped with some mature trees for shade, and impeccably maintained. Large sites with crushed stone landing pad, concrete patio with decorative metal table and chairs, and a paved parking area for the toad. Sites under shade structures are available. Our site was a pull-through and we had plenty of room for our car. Roads are paved, wide, and were easy to navigate in our 40ft motorhome. Utilities worked with no issues. WiFi and T-mobile were good. We had good barbecue from the on-site restaurant. There are a couple of fenced dog runs and several other leash-walk areas. If you want to use the fenced runs, I suggest you request a site near them since this park is so big it can be a long walk. They do offer some sites which include your own private fenced dog run. I recommend this park. We would stay here again if in the area.

Nice Place . . . But . . .

This was an amazing place in every way . . . except one which is very important to us personally. We stayed for a couple of nights in Dec 2020, when COVID rates were skyrocketing everywhere & especially Arizona. We had just come from a KOA in New Mexico which had 100% mask compliance throughout the campground. Here, despite the infection rates there was zero mask compliance amongst campers anywhere in the campground. The staff wore masks and we watched them diligently clean campsite furniture after campers checked out. But nothing was done to encourage compliance. In NM there were signs everywhere. Here, they were actively encouraging campers to gather at group (super spreader) activities. Seriously? Over 300,000 dead & they host a full slate of weekly activities and pancake breakfast like nothing is happening? The pool area was full of unmasked people. No one wore a mask in the restroom or laundry. My wife was openly taunted by other campers for wearing a mask. It was very callous.

Nice Place

This place was very nice. Easy access from highway and close to RV sales and service. Pull through covered space with our own dog run. Pool was nice but filled with kids. Very posh sites and I liked that they had buddy sites that can be shared with a friend lots of site choices for your particular desire, and fruit trees on site. Read reviews of how expensive this place was but we found it reasonable for what was available. Staff was friendly and helpful and they pick up trash from your site which is nice. Easy propane purchase as well. Would stay again. Pima air museum only one exit down.

Resort

I have to give it 5 stars because of the facilities, security, staff, cleanliness, etc. Not really my type of place, but certainly nice. Posh. Los of snowbirds.

Friendly And Great Grounds

Stayed here twice. First time was late arrival and was easy in/out. Neighbors were very friendly (snow birds that I now want to be when I grow up). Second time, someone was parked in our spot. Pretty inconvenient but wasn’t office fault, someone just parked their car in the spot that was visiting a long term stay. Best facility we had stayed at, clean and well maintained.

Nice KOA but go further East to the Voyager RV park and save $19/nite with Passport America with more things to do and a nice restaurant. Won’t stay at this KOA in the future. Give it only three stars because of expense.

Our quick stop was clean, very well maintained, and safe. The only downside is that we got in fairly late and had to leave fairly early so we didn’t get to really participate in the amenities. Got the least expensive site available which was still a pretty penny. However, happy they allowed pop ups because a surprising number of private campgrounds do not in the Tucson area. Better can’t be choosers.

Great place to relax. Staff was very friendly and helpful. BBQ restaurant on site was a nice addition. Two pools and two hot tubs were great. Bike paths right off the campground entrance. Facilities were clean at all times. We stayed for a month and loved it.

As an Native born Arizona resident I made reservations two months in advance for a pull thru because of snowbirds. Upon arrival they said I requested 5 days when I requested 3. Said I asked for backin in when I requested pull thru. I showed them the confirmation on my phone they sent me. FYI keeps your confirmations! They offered a 10% discount because of their mistake and I took the backin. We have a 40 ft diesel with tow vehicle. We checked out and returned to Phoenix on day we said we would leave at 9 a.m. I received call almost home asking why I was still in the spot. They finally figured they gave my spot to someone from Vermont with my similar name. Double check everything with this place as the right hand and left hand don’t communicate.

Nice

Semi-pet friendly....sites are gravel not pet friendly... people have fenced off grass area.... fruit trees you can pick from that was cool...young lady in office was very nice..... glad they were able to get us in, but $95 a night for a fire pit and most uneven sight we've had in 12 years... facilities were clean, but ceilings in terrible condition...

Muddy Dog Park

So as wonderful as this place is, and it is, I can only give it 2 stars at best because they have a large and wonderful dog park area that they allow the pool water to drain into every day. So when you take you dog there, it is at a minimum muddy and at worst is flooded in several areas and occasionally completely flooded. Now there is a pond near the dog park... why don’t they divert the pool water there or block the drainage into the dog area so the water has to continue down into the street all the way. Come on. This RV Park is so well thought out but this! It really really stinks and makes it hard in many ways for dog owners. It really ruins an RV’ers day to have a wet and muddy dog to take home into such a tiny space. They do have dog washes but I don’t want to wash my dog twice a day after I’ve taken him to the park. It’s ridiculous and easy to fix. Block the drainage area.

Best KOA

Super KOA with 2 pools and hot tubs, putting greens, beautiful sites, everything you could ever need. Big space between sites so you don’t feel too crowded in a big park. The best dog run I’ve ever seen at an rv park - can actually throw a ball and get your dog to run. We have a full size Australian Shepherd and that’s our biggest downside to RVing. Anyway he was in ball chasing heaven. They encourage you to pick oranges, grapefruit and lemons off all the beautiful trees. Honestly we were sad we only could stay 2 days.

Cross Country Stop

Great Rv camp. Parked under the shade of solar panels with plenty of elbow room between sites. We also enjoyed the pool. Best KOA we stayed at between Tampa and San Diego. Would definitely stay at again.

Great Place

Stayed here for two months Jan and Feb 2018. One of the very best campgrounds I have ever stayed at. Fruit trees ( orange, lemon, grapefruit) separate your site from your neighbor. Plenty of activities for young and old. Already made reservations for next year.

Great Rv Park

Incredible park, wish we could stay longer. Great mix of ages young and old, beautiful grounds, incredibly clean, nicely priced for what the park offers.

No internet for days. No compensation. No office or security phones answered after 5 PM. Overpriced food. 3/10 staff friendliness. Positive: hardtop patios and fresh fruit trees

New RV Owner

Was absolutely spoiled as this was my first RV park experience. Roomy, clean and the best barbecue in Tucson! The staff was helpful and friendly. They pick up trash at your door and round frequently. Level lots with fruit trees and picnic tables

We planned on boondocking and pulled into a travel center around 9:00 pm only to find our generator wouldn't start and we were without power with a fridge full of food. Drove about an hour to this KOA, arriving around 11:00 pm. Ted, the night security person, greeted us and led us to a beautiful site, complete with patio furniture and a grapefruit tree! He also made sure we were set up and good to go before leaving. Awesome experience here!!

Nicest KOA

Best KOA we have seen. Very large park, very well kept. We chose a site under the solar panels that had its own private fenced in pet yard. A big perk when the dogs have to go out at night. Also has a huge dog park for off leash near the park entrance. Can't say enough good things about this place compared to others we have seen. If you are passing through or staying for a while this place is worth the extra $.

Very clean and well maintained, we stayed under the solar panels which helped with the heat. The Bar B Q restraint was wonderful. The drive up Mt Lemon is well worth the time

Very clean, well-maintained resort. Highly recommend the covered spots in the summer! It was 105 while we were there and the cover made it possible to actually hang out outside some. Spots were far apart, plenty of space.

Nice, Clean Park

We stayed on a 60ft gravel pad, they have more deluxe options with grass, but we only stayed the night so gravel was fine. Clean park with nice amenities: pool, fitness center, restaurant/bar with happy hour, laundry, etc. Would stay again.

Clean, nice sized lots. Fruit trees are amazing! We were in the back and the road traffic noise was annoying, because of that I would say it's over priced.

Nice But Expensive

Huge place. Got here at the right time of year for fruit trees to be bearing fruit. I have lemons grapefruits and oranges that I have picked that are actually very tasty. The place is clean staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great stay

Very nice, clean, spacious and very friendly staff!!! Some spots have an outdoor fireplace, a couple of hammocks, a couple of rows of solar panel canopy to stay under. They have different cities trees you can pick fruit from when it's ripe. Very nice

Very neat, quiet, and clean park. Gravel and pavement with trees. Generously sized spots. A little expensive if you are just overnighting but would definitely return.

Very nice KOA
