Dump Station For A Fee- But Wait. . .

If you just need a dump station and aren't staying in the park, they offer one for 15.00 But when you call to inquire about the fee they don't tell you that water is not included. Maybe this is a thing in AZ but we're travelers who always get a water fill for the fee. The lady on the phone was very quick and stern about "that's not included" -- We would have tried a different place.

Awesome Park

We actually were stranded in Safford with a bad axle. They had one space available at Roper Lake State Park. The spaces are large we had a beautiful shade tree, bathrooms are exceptionally clean and staff were awesome and worked with us until we could get towed out. Would definitely stay here again it's a gorgeous location.

Large Spots

We have stayed here many times, quiet, large spots, trails, hot tub, fire pits, close to town and mt graham, fishing, will stay again.

$20 primitive, $30 for hookups. Not too many others this time of year. Nice, clean bathrooms and lots of wildlife (birds and bunnies). The cabins on the edge of the water looked nice too.

Stayed here 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. Clean well kept park with clean bathrooms and showers. Nice walking paths around the Lake with floating fishing walkways. Camp Hosts are very good at keeping up with the turnover as Campers come and go. Highly recommend.

Love Roper Lake!

What a gem! It surpassed my expectations. Hot spring, dog park, cabins, clean campgrounds with showers, nice beach on the lake and several pull throughs. All for a beautiful price. Highly recommend.

Another Nice AZ State Park.

This is a nice and well-maintained state park near Stafford. There are numerous trails in the area, and trip up Mt. Graham is a treat.

Good place for a couple days rest. Clean and we'll kept. Lots of colorful bird activity.
