East In & Out Stopover, Safe
If coming from Tucson or Phoenix and need a place to stop for the night because you can't make the border before it closes, this place is an easy in and out. Electric, water and sewer at each site. The only drawback is it is hard to get a hold of the manager to reserve a spot. Be persistent. And my gut tells me that if you don't get a hold of the manager to make a reservation, and you're coming in at night and want to leave first in the morning, just leave 25 bucks on the wooden deck of the manufactured home there at the entrance.

Peaceful Park
We came here expecting to stay a month. We ended up staying 2 1/2 months because it's so nice and peaceful. Even the wild burros who serenaded us each night wasn't bothersome. There's a lot of trails to ride ATVs directly from the park. The managers, Chris and Tonya, are so wonderful we fell in love with them. They had a great concern that all of our needs were met. We plan to return next year for an extended stay.

Very nice park. Very clean and well managed. Excellent access to the desert surrounding the park. Great hiking included with admission to the facility.
Reasonable price.

Off The Beaten Path
We have never been to this part of the country before, so we were flying blind when we happened on this place. We look for campgrounds that are not crowded and are off the highway. To find a fhu site for $19 that affords so much tranquility was a bonus! They have recently fenced out the feral burros, but you can still enjoy their music at night. Great walking trails, and a lot of repeat visitors. The desert views are stark but lovely, especially in the evening. We would stop here in a heartbeat if we ever venture in this way again.

Love This Park
We stayed here over the weekend. Its a very clean park. It is quiet and serene. Showers and Landry facilities are on site along with full hookups at each site. All this for $19. Sunsets are extra spectacular. We will stay again.
