Stay At The Ranch House Lodge

Karen and Andy from the Ranch House Lodge RV Resort at mm 173 on the Glenn are 2 of the most hospitable and sweet people I've ever been fortunate enough to meet. They went above and beyond any expectation and then some. They have a nice spot of land right on the Tolsona Creek with a few spots right on the Creek with more to come. Full hook ups and a few different cabins with a bathhouse to boot if that's you're style. She makes an amazing chili in the lodge but also serves pizza (we didn't try that tho). If you are looking for a friendly comfortable campground with hosts who will go out of their way to make your visit more comfortable, I highly recommend this place.

Great Stop

The Ranch House Lodge is a great stop on the Glen highway. They have all the amenities in a very conveniently located site. The history of the location is also very interesting. If you get a chance to chat with the owners you should ask Karen about her book. I was hesitant to stop instead of powering through to anchorage but I'm very glad I did, and you will be too if you stop here like I did.
