One of the nicest, well maintained state parks that we have been to. The staff was very nice and we loved the park. The only draw back was the noise from I 10. There is nothing they do about that.

A Must Stop
Park is well maintained. Bathrooms were very clean and air conditioned. What a plus. We will always come here when we are traveling if we are lucky enough to get a site. S55
4g and 3 bars for a decent Wi-Fi. S27 cell signal a little weak.

One Of Our Favorites
We stayed here many times. Park manager is friendly and helpful. They now offer free WIFI. Fishing is available at several places. Hurricane damage at the main pier still has to be completed (as of summer 2021). Not a fan of the push button shower.

Not much to do here. The trails go in small circles and some are very soggy. The map shows a beach. More of a fishing place than a beach. Nice people work here. The facilities are well kept, nice and clean. The bad thing here is the highway noise. It’s loud and constant. I couldn’t hear my wife talking to me just over 15’ away.
I won’t stay here again.

Very Nice Place!
Very nice sites with plenty of room! Fun weekend spot. Has a small playground that our little boy really liked! A very friendly staff. Huge gators at the pier. No traffic in the park so that was nice for small kids to safely ride bikes! We will revisit again one weekend, but due to lack of amenities, I’d prob not stay here for a week or so, but great for a weekend!

Beautiful Campground
Stayed here for just 1 night as just passing through. When we reserved our spot, we didn’t realize this was on the bay and was on a pull through site away from the water. When we arrived we found some really nice vacant back in’s adjacent to the water and the campground host (Deana) allowed us to relocate next to the water. What beautiful views...Deana was super nice and we would definitely recommend this place!

Looked Nice
We wanted to stop here but they had the price at 72$ for Mardi Gras. So we drove through. Looked very nice. Will come back when price is normal.

Always enjoy being able to see water from my site. Nice level pad and short boardwalk trail on water front.

December Visit
Stayed here 2nd weekend of Dec 2018. Good location. Traffic noise barely noticeable from my site #57. Bathhouses very clean and functional. Sites very flat and very little elevation to work with for sewer drain. Staff very helpful and friendly. Met the incoming camp hosts. Very nice as well. Will visit here again in the spring.

Beautiful Place
Don’t let the road there fool you. It was beautiful and friendly. I would say it’s over priced though. 43 $ with all taxes

Nice Views
Its a nice small quiet SP with very few amenities but everything you need. Full hookups, great views, level and spacious pads. Very quiet. Night view over the bay is beautiful. Would highly recommend for a relaxing trip.

This is a very nice park and we'll certainly be back again for another stay. It has fairly large spacious sites. The only downside is a constant low level traffic noise from I10. We did not see any ants but took the necessary precautions anyway. The price was also very reasonable.

A Little Pricey, But It Is On The Gulf
This is a small park. It has level, wide, paved spaces, full hookups, tables and grill. There have been big problems with ants in units...so put protection down on unit legs, tires, cables, etc. We used comet and never saw an ant. The bathroom showers are the only draw backs. You cannot adjust the temperature, water comes on by a button and goes off in a few minutes so must be repressed to continue, only shower curtains for privacy. There are handicapped showers but they do not have seating. One of the maintenance crew (thank you Judy) got us a folding chair from the laundry to accommodate my husband for a shower. There really should have some moveable bench or seat in the handicapped shower. The bathrooms are a bit old but they do clean them often. The staff is friendly and the grounds around the sites are kept neat.

Pine Forest Beside The Water
Nice sites with hardstand and 3 services for $42 in march 2017. Bit of road hum depending on the wind in the pines or the gators splashing but gets less as one gets older.

Great Place
Great place to stay had a great time.

Very nicely maintained park, however, since it's literally overlooking hwy I10 and borders a local road, the noise levels are high, so don't expect to enjoy nature...

Lots of birds and nice board walk. But noise from freeway bad. Clean and flat in beautiful pines. Lots of sites on the water. Great one night stop.
