They do take reservations online now. If you show up, you still have to reserve online. Beautiful campground with views of the river.
The camp worker was very nice and helpful. We stayed overnight for $33 with a senior discount.

Rudeness
The park might be a nice place but the lady working the front is very rude and inconsiderate. Tone in the way you talk to people means everything. They could give me 3 free night here and I would not take because of the lady working the front

My wife says a man must clean the bathrooms. Whenever she says that, it means the cleanliness is not up to her standards. Other than that, our site overlooked the river and was fine for our brief one night stay in Florence.

Nice Overall
Nice place. Biggest drawback is standing water when it rains. Some of the asphalt pads are needing attention as roots have bucked the pad. Host was always friendly. I suggest calling ahead since spots are not reserved. The sites in the wooded area may seem narrow if you have to adjust over for your slides.

Great park right on the river with a wonderful view of the river and bluffs. Sites are concrete pads, level and big. Hookups work well. They don’t take reservations and it can fill up early on weekends during the season. The only downside is the sites hold a lot of water in heavy rain as drainage is poor.

The view of the river is amazing. Hosts are friendly.
TIP: Half the spots are shaded; half are not. There are no reservations, so call ahead to get a feel for the number of spots available. They only accept cash or check (no cards). No WiFi. They do have 30 & 50 Amp hookups, fresh water, and dump at each spot.
