great for the price
I've been wintering over here three years now, great place, nice family run place with very reasonable prices. many RVs here are permanent, with the same people coming every year. Right on the water, plenty of stores and restaurants in walking distance. Has a night guard on duty, locks beach side gates evenings. I will be coming here many years to come

Great Park By The Ocean
It's Mexico, so it's not going to be what you are used to in the states for sure. It's a little old and run down, but nicer that the areas around it. Friendly locals who can speak English and are glad to help. Sites have 30 amp circuits and sewer. The water is a bit brackish, but we used it anyways after double filtering it
Lots of small restaurants is walking distance. There is a family owned seafood place next door to the park with a family that uses to live in the US and moved down, so they speak excellent English.
You can't beat the ocean view though. We were so close we could hear and see the ocean. Pet friendly and you don't need leashes if you don't want. Our dogs loved the ocean and the freedom

Location
We loved our 4 day stay here! The location is in old Kino, right on the beach. The RV park is mostly made up of very friendly snow birds. Definantly a little rough around the edges, yet funky, clean and lots of Palm trees. Sunsets were amazing, beach combing was amazing, and the little town of Old Kino was quit charming. The fresh raw clams and scallops were to die for. We rode our bikes all the way through New Kino and looked at all the other RV parks and Island is was hands down the best. If your lucky enough to be there on a Tues. to get your order of fresh baked goodies in for Wed. morning you are in for a real treat:))) Phillip is an awesome french baker with a lovely wife Michelle. We'll be back for sure!
