Carsons Camp is divided into two campgrounds: east, which is landlocked, and west, which has access to Lake Huron. Campsites are well maintained and provide moderate to little privacy. There are two playgrounds for kids, two pools, a store, and all camping necessities. Most of the park is seasonal campers, or park models. Transient sites are typically booked a year in advance, which is due to the popularity of the park. Prices are comparable to any higher end park, and increase during long weekends and high demand times. Access to some sites is challenging for larger rigs, but once you are there, you won't want to leave. Been there three times, and will return.
