A Little Tight And A Lot Of Mosquitoes

Sights are broken up into Clusters (see the map I uploaded) then Groups. We were in Cluster 1 Group C Site 9. The sites were roomy but we did have to come in the opposite way to back out 24' into our site. We were here end of Aug/beg of Sep so not busy and we didn't block anyone. HOWEVER the mosquitos were AWFUL! We really couldn't spend any time outside. A different time of year it would probably be fine. Very close to Queensway Hwy so it was constant traffic noise but took on white noise aspect. Bathrooms were dated but clean and plenty of pressure & hot water. Laundry facility was decent. Getting a left onto Corkstown Rd is a nightmare!

Be Careful

If you’re in a class A towing drive to assigned lot first. They put us in a spot where to make a turn had trees 2” on either side. Lots of low branches. Water and electric are not placed well, needed extension cord and extra hose. WiFi only available at office and one other hot spot. We are in a 40’ bus towing.

Excellent campground. We always stay here when visiting Ottawa in the summer.

Heavily treed with large lots, no sewer on lots, but had dumping station. We would stay here again. Very well managed.
