Quiet And Simple

Nice and quiet place and the staff were very polite. It’s the first time using the new RV and the staff is very helpful. Lots tips and loaned a mat for outside. Thanks Green Acres!

Surveillance

No golf carts are allowed in this camp but the owners and staff have them. They keep an eye on all guests at all times. There is no privacy. Buy your ice in town as they charge over and above anywhere else. They inflate their prices on bags of woood because they hold the monopoly. No outside wood is allowed. Have fun but dont make any noise doing it. Be careful of the electrical system because it is below standard and you will pop breakers or blow fuses. The water pressure sucks as they try to encourage you to uses the campground showers which they charge you for. They do not like medical scooters in this park. The campground owners are rude and condescending toward everyone! There are no activities for children except for a wagon ride through the park on weekends which the campground owner uses as an opportunity to scrutinize what campers are doing in their sites!

Restrictions

Well kept resort. Owner is very friendly and talkative. Office staff not so much. Didn't get my Internet password until I found out while talking to owner. A few restrictions we weren't prepared for like, no outside firewood - due to emerald ash borer problem - not even construction lumber. Their wood is $8.25 a bag and it was wet. No outside carpets unless they look like screens. Would have been nice to know up front. Beach is 2.5 km (1.5 mi.). Town is 3.5 km (2+ mi). $20 cab ride back to campsite (with an unsolicited discount, Fred's taxi). We were there on Canada day but no special activities?!
