Easy Access to Ottawa

...and on the Rideau River. Easy canoeing on a slow moving river. Small playground for the kids- that still has teeter-totters! The beach seems ok. Spring brings a lot of mosquitoes and sites close to the main road outside the park bring some road noise. Some sites closer to the water have been mislabeled as smaller than they are. Apparently this will be corrected. Sites closer to the water are more level, shaded but with less low scrub(so fewer mossies if there is a breeze). Nice little park even if twice the price of a comparable US state park (and with no site water hookups).
