Very Nice
Nice little family run campground - cash only, they aren't set up for plastic. Owner is very nice and helpful ... even so much as allowing one camper, who was renovating his RV, access to his own workshop and tools. Spots are pretty level ... just needed one leveling link. When we called the owner warned us that the water, though it is good and safe, does smell bad due to the coal throughout the area. We had just topped off our water, so elected not to even bother hooking up to the water, so I can't verify the smell. There are showers, toilets and laundry on site, though I can't say anything about them, so ce we didn't use them. Sites are picturesque, right on the river. 4 stars because power is only 20 amp, and 2 sites have to share one plug. With the size of most adapters, you can't plug 2 into one outlet. Also, the turn into their driveway is very narrow, with a ditch and trees and a mailbox on each side of the driveway. A bigger rig can get in, but be very careful.
