We Had A Very Nice Stay
Nice campground located next to a lovely stream. Sites were spacious. Staff was very courteous. They have a newly updated laundry room and are completing updates on the shower/bath houses but they were clean and roomy. Shower head could stand to be a bit higher - I'm 5'5" and any taller and I would have had to duck. We had a site right by the creek and it was so nice. They do allow you to open your grey tank onto the ground if you want, or use the site hookup. There was a honey wagon that went around but they do have a dump station.
We like how close it was to Lunenburg. We biked there and back on the Dynamite and Bay to Bay trails (30 miles round trip) and glad we did because cars were insane in that little town. We highly recommend the Lobster Roll and a slice of carrot cake at The Knot Pub in Lunenburg and avoid the tourist restaurants down at the harbor - they were constantly packed! Lovely restaurants and stores in Mahone Bay as well
